For the third year in a row, we held Winter Field Day at the Nampa Fire Training Center. This year we decided to use vintage equipment. Besides older Icoms, Kenwoods and Heathkits, we had some new equipment also, including a SDR radio which most of us have never seen. We didn't make a lot of contacts but we did have a lot of fun and we did meet some new hams. We had 39 contacts and score of 2,301. We powered all equipment on generators, including computers and laptops besides radio equipment. |
